Mrs. Jenny Bradley
Mrs. Bradley has been teaching in the Omaha Archdiocese the past 38 years. She had taught at Holy Cross and St. Joan of Arc before coming to Holy Name to teach Pre-Kindergarten in 1993.. She has also taught Kindergarten, 3rd, 4th ,5th and 6th grades.
Mrs. Bradley is a graduate of Holy Name Grade School and High School. She graduated from UNO with a degree in Elementary Education. She and her husband, Andy, have 2 grown children. Katie and Joe are also graduates of Holy Name Grade School
Mrs. Bradley is a member of the National Association for the Education of the Young Child.(NAEYC)
She has served on the board for the Better Way Grant program. This is a Creighton University sponsored grant that Holy Name shared with other area preschools that helps promote early childhood development programs and training for our childcare staff.
She also works with The Office of Interprofessional Scholarship, Service and Education(OISSE)at Creighton University to develop health programs that we have used in our after school program as well as in our 5- day school.
She works closely with undergraduates and graduate students of UNO and Creighton who are pursuing course work in the Early Childhood field.
Mrs. Bradley is the Program Consultant for the Holy Name Preschool and Childcare program
She is the coordinator for our school pictures program with Scholastic Photography as well as the Co-Editor of the School Yearbook.
Mrs. Bradley and her husband were proud recipients of the 2010 Holy Name Rambler Reach Out Award for their hard work and dedication to the mission of Holy Name .Her husband was the 2013-14 District Governor of Kiwanis in Nebraska-Iowa. and as First Lady she has spent the past year traveling all over both states.
In her spare time she follows the Creighton Bluejays basketball team, the Royals and Cubs baseball teams, takes photos, reads every children's book that she can and travels to DC and Missouri as often as possible to visit her kids .
Mrs. Bradley believes play and being read to are very important to a child's development. Children learn by playing and experimenting with toys, language and art materials. She believes in making sure activities are age appropriate for your child. She believes that each child develops at his or her own pace. Her classroom is very much a hands-on place. She believes that children should enjoy learning. Her classroom is a fun-filled place.
